i'm experiencing frustrating issue. when pasting between illustrator documents formatting lost , images not move over.   example, working on new flyer, borrow existing flyers since copy , pricing good, making flyers have different combinations of products etc.   so select text boxes , images 1 illustrator document, control copy , try control v illustrator document , gets pasted text unformatted. you'd think had copied , pasted somethign notepad.     the problem not happen 100% of time, it's 50/50 seems.   sometimes when problem occurs, i'll spam control c few times , control v paste you'd expect. problem occurs whether use control c, or edit copy.   i'm using cs3   p.s. happens when try cut , paste within same document. if formatting @ layer level lost when pasted. if nest formatted layer inside parent layer , turn on "paste remembers layers", formatted layer retained when pasted. i'm not sure true in cs3, that's how works in cs5. how edit table of contents file indesign cs6 generates epub files?   the headings appear requested, page numbers left of headings, though i've indicated want them flush right, following (and across from) headings.   also, i've indicated want leader dots between text , page numbers, don't show up.   there doesn't seem way edit toc.ncx file in dreamweaver, though able edit .css , .xhtml files. i've downloaded sigil mac, , starting acquaint myself epub editor. there better application (or method) formatting toc?   thanks in advance help. i can open , edit in textwrangler on mac. textwrangler barebones software free.   my preference oxygen author that's paid application allows editing without cracking open epub. we received indd file want open.  have cs6 design , web premium installed.  file not open because says need cs7.  cs7 not released, fashion can see? it indesign creative cloud.   you need purchase this.   and if can't - ask person firstly make pdf of file. , use file>save , choose idml options.   you can open idml file in older versions of indesign , pdf give grasp of layout should things move. hoping can this. we print using flat bed ink jet printer cmyk++(fixative) capable of printing several images @ 1 time.   we create file using ps use bridge , contact sheet ii create print ready document.   the issue contact sheet ii makes select colour background of document.   if choee white when export pdf printer interprets white area "coloured pixels" , prints our fixative ink on entire background rather under pixel of image.   i need able use contact sheet type solution able preservice background transparency stop happening.   any suggestion? contact sheet ii runs action, though end result flattened image, there still history steps in image. last step should flattening. if open history panel directly after creating contact sheet, should able undo flatten. can delete backgroung layer (which filled color of choice). can print, areas around thumbnails remain transparent. not re-flatten image after deleting background layer create new background layer, , no t...
