Thread: setting xhost rules at boot...
i able set xhost @ boot in fedora editing /etc/gdm/init/default , example add:
/usr/bin/xhost +local:
how can similar done in ubuntu? want the
/usr/bin/xhost +local:
command executed when system sitting @ login prompt.
do want executed when computer turns on (before showing login screen) or after have logged in?
execute command after have logged in, add command .profile in home folder (this apply only you).
execute command when or else logs in, add command /etc/profile.
execute command before logs in, add command either /etc/rc.local or /etc/gdm/init/default (i don't know difference between two, don't know 1 preferable).
