Thread: Tomboy is broken, System.Threading.Monitor error


so trying upgrade tomboy notes dev version 1.9.10, , had compile source. after many dependencies satisfied, configured, made, , installed tomboy 1.9.10... promptly greeted bit of code:

so, promptly purged tomboy , reinstalled using latest stable version through apt, has been working previously. gave me same message. restarted, same message. purged again, reinstalled again, same message. think 1 of dependencies manually installed may have broken it, i'm not sure one. help? in advance, guys.

side note: forgot include system stats:
ubuntu 11.10x86_64, kernel 3.0.0-17
lenovo g770 laptop
i5 dual core threading
desktop environment: gnome 3.2

i'm not inexperienced ubuntu, beyond i've dealt wih yet
