i using dell optiplex-260 1gb ram , 40gb hdd cannot install flavor of ubuntu. other distros, puppy linux , dsl(damn small linux) boot live. when place cd in computer see graphical ubuntu logo loading , whenever gets screen select language screen goes black, before cannot recall think says "checking ntds server" , below "checking bluetooth" 2 dots beside each one. screen disappears , left blsack screen , occasional glitchy presence resembles gui box. tried deleting partition in puppylinux gparted clean install met similar results. performed entire systems wipe(i didnt have data on there anyway). tried system wipe sudo dd if=/dev/zero of=/dev/sda bs=1m while in puppy linux. im running out of options, possible permanently damaged hdd system wipe , partition removal? posted hobomank i using dell...

i put new workstation machine editing 1d-c 4k files in premiere pro , after effects. specs...   i7 3770     3.4 gigabyte z77 mobo 32gb corsair vengance ddr3 1600 ram 250gb samsung ssd 4x 2tb seagate 7200 hdds in raid 0 (yes know isn't backed up, have part covered) nvidia quadro k4000 (3gb vram)   anyway, transfered project media files our raid media drive. it opened , loaded media faster our old workstation. then hit spacebar (perview) , problems started.. it won't play smoothly @ all, , running cpu @ 10-20%, gpu 10-50%, ram @ 25% , not taxing drives hard either... why won't pp use resources @ 100% have seen on other machines?   ** project trying play 2 layers of 4k .mov footage in 1080 timeline... sharpening, fast color corrector, , rgb curves.   ** drops every fourth frame when playing 1 layer of 4k .mov footage in 1080 timeline no effects applied. ok, i'm running 'awesome' window manager , it's keyboard shortcuts. i've got xbindkeys mapping keyboard shortcuts arbitrary terminal commands. i've used qwerty life , want give dvorak whirl. guess questions, in brief are: 1) there terminal command can use switch between dvorak , qwerty recognition (i'm on laptop, it'll on same keyboard -- not sure if that's factor). 2) switching qwerty going mess keyboard shortcuts exist in awesome, and/or ones i've configured xbindkeys? assume that, instance, if have "control + s" mapped in xbindkeys on qwerty keyboard, , switch dvorak recognition, i'd have press "control + k" on qwerty keyboard (since that's s key on dvorak keyboard) call shortcut, , "control + n" minimize windows in awesome become "control + l" want sure. i have document fillable form fields received source. added disclosure info couple of fields on page 1 , made them read-only, locked them, , secured document (other fields still fillable).   when document downloaded on mobile device, information in read-only fields not display.   is there known issue mobile devices , fillable forms? particular device android, not display on iphone. document needs display read-only information opens it, no exceptions.   i tried replacing page image, somehow fields still there , got double-exposure effect.   any ideas on how can fix this? apps mobile devices not support forms not display form fields. i on windows 8 pro 64-bit. in audition cs6 there yellow line helps move , place clip in multitrack. between marker 02 , 03. but in audition cc don’t see it. makes more difficult place clip correctly. when drag  kick , trying place on 1:3.08 example. is there settings change? oh, snapping not enabled. it's fine now. sorry. i have had revel on computers , ipad for  couple of months.  on 27 june subscribed unlimited upload version.  credit card chanred same day.  order details reflect "completed" still shown open case (i.e., pending adobe response).  of end of day on 2 july (almost week now) revel still shows 50 photos per month limit.  when converted unlimited uploads ?  or, how money ? i have fixed you.  apologies delay. why can't save icc profile template? just tested it... lr5 on win7 correctly remembers icc profile settings in print templates. furthermore, internal settings of printer driver (if printer-level color mgt used) should remembered, (i didn't test now). lr-version/os using? perhaps others can reproduce problem.   or mean why icc profiles can't embedded diretly in print template file, e.g. transfer them computer? difficult because icc profiles have "formally" installed in operating system before use. although lr able use "local" profiles suppose (but wouldn't "clean" use of icc profiles). i downloaded file using reader. have filled out , ready email attachment. when went attach received measseg stating, "this document not allow changes saved. changes have made not included in document when mailed." there can do? please, need help. unfortunately, error on part of form's author. didn't save , such cannot saved after filling out using reader. doesn't happen often, it's plenty frustrating when does. solution print filled out, scan print , email that, properties saved not allow mailing or saving it. wish had better answer that.  More discussions in Acrobat Reader adobe
