Thread: Kernel upgrade won't update grub configuration

hello upgraded kernel 3.0.0-17 , grub boot config won't update ubuntu still boots 3.0.0-16, how involve bootfile update correspond current kernel?

do have more 1 install? remember partition or os grub in sda looks grub files in partition or operating system. way always.

to make sure grub has new kernel updated.

can use:

sudo grub-mkconfig

and can watch kernels update if want see them.
