Green screen workflow question
i'm rendering out (fingers crossed) last pass of has turned out giant headache of project. client provided 50gb of green screen footage, interviews of 8 individuals, 1 hour each interview. on top of each shot on different camera, sd, hd. i'm designer , motion graphics animator in after effects.
let me explain did process, , please tell me how make life easier in future!
1. import hours of footage premiere , trim 10-30 seconds of footage taken each interview.
2. import premiere sequences after effects , keylight.
3. render mov's alpha (all footage individual interviews)
4. trim key'd clips (each interview had several snippets sprinkled along 6 minute timeline) , add lower thirds, intro , outro animations in ae
when write out, doesn't seem complicated, it's been giant pain. i've spent hours trying match volume. rendered out final trim , pulled audio track audition edit... appreciated. makes complicated several different sources different lighting , keying needs different frame sizes.
did try , key directly in premiere?
may have saved "time/grief/workflow".
