i have noticed occasional random ongoing problem in lightroom , encountered again in lr 5, running on win 7 64 on 30" 2560x1600 monitor.  while develop view renders properly, louple view soft.  here example:   1:1 develop 1:1 loupe there no indication need wait final rendering , image never gets sharper.  zooming in , out not fix rendering in loupe view.  resizing lightroom window smaller size not help.  rebuilding 1:1 previews not help.   the thing works close , reopen lightroom.  appears flag in program instructing loupe rerender not set.   this serious problem because user decide delete image based on loupe view.  has forced me preview images in photomechanic.  cannot rely on lightroom.   this difficult problem reproduce seems happen randomly.  have solution this?  in search , based on recollection, zoom in , out seemed fix in past, not work me now. am 1 seeing behavior? i moved photo files , know how manually locate each file, there way of telling lr new location of files in 1 go? keeps on automatically looking old location. do relinking @ folder level, not on individual files. if moved photo files, folders in folders panel should have "?" mark....so right-click (ctrl-click on mac) on highest level folder in folders panel, select "find missing folder", point same folder in new location. if have single parent folder, you're done. if have more, rinse , repeat. i had elements 11 since came out , decided use cause using paint shop pro x5 ultimate (which use to). anyway, question download frames use graphics , directory/folder put it? can use frames psp x5? thanks. well have lot of frames available default in pse. bottom panel or action bar click graphics , dropdowns choose type , frames respectively , see lot of them. blue ribbons ones present online , use them need download them first time when double click on of such frame use.   hope helps.   thanks, garry          More discussions in Photoshop Elements adobe

hi ...   i downloaded , installed developer ipa file ipad. horror none of buttons specify “go page“ work. what happens go page 1 (1).   everything else fine.   the buttons work in content viewer, no problems, not in genetated development ipa file!!   any on this? deadline looming ...   thanks,   yngvi i never use go page actions should work within article. without seeing actual files it's impossible tell problem is.   i use navto buttons this. try recreating app again , see if fixes it; might glitch, if continues happen may have stumbled on bug. when began project skipped using sequence settings. imported clip 29.97 fps (40 min long), , later clip 30.00 fps (37min long). they're being synced , edited. both run smooth in timeline, , can't put finger on innacurate.   is worth matching these 100%?   thanks no, not really. won't see difference unless trying match them both been seen @ same time. believe can modify 30 fps interpreted 29.97 , should trick you. i've changed expert mode custom workspace , set panels them.  remains same every time open , close photoshop elements until reboot computer.  using windows 7.  seems new settings file somehow being reset though haven't done myself.  note have pse 10 on computer haven't used recently.   is there somewhere should specify workspace must saved?  have not had problem previous versions of pse. hi, have installed wireless router desktop ( has ubuntu 10.10 on ) , have laptop windows 7 networked it. know next nothing networking managed laptop , ubuntu desktop "share" folder on ubuntu desktop. problem: can move folder ( has sub-folders in ) home directory shared folder, when go try copy files shared folder windows laptop ( using laptop ), windows says need "computer's administrator make changes folder". if go shared folder on ubuntu desktop, go specific folder, , right click folder , check "share folder" , "allow others create...." , "guest access..." , "add permissions automatically" , can go laptop , copy files on laptop. problem there folders tons of sub-folders, of sub-folders sub-folders. how can note files placed in shared folder on ubuntu allowed sharing without having go , click every single folder? thread moved networking ...

i can't open lightroom 4 because everytime gives me message lr$ catalog can't opened because version running.  no other version can see running.  started when placed scandrive flash drive in computer had had pictures lightroom on it.  lr came on , froze.  had restart computer.  how can lr running again.  , save work i've done.  in advance help! go folder holds catalog lightroom. in folder file same name catalog except has .lock extension. if 1 there, delete it. when lightroom doesn't close properly, or if there else isn't quite normal, file won't deleted when lightroom closes. file required database. , if it's present lightroom thinks catalog in use. rid of lock file, , should able lightroom going again.
