Thread: Cannot turn on WiFi
greetings everyone! so, i'm in bit of pickle may or may not see thread title. can't turn on wifi. if push f11 key, bluetooth turns off/on, supposed me wifi. i've lulz tried f11 key while holding down fn, same thing. nothing happens. now, being stated...here's i've pushed in terminal...maybe here can make heads or tails of , come solution.

no wireless device shows up. sad face. if can think of do, let me know. i've gone blocklist, , added acer, commented out bcm43xx, restarted device. right now, i'm going reinstall broadcom drivers, , see if works. other tips appreciated!code:chris@chris-presario-cq57-notebook-pc:~$ iwconfig lo no wireless extensions. eth0 no wireless extensions.
have scoured forums no avail; i've tried listed, , nothing worked. stick on main page.
side note: i'm not using lucid lynx. won't let me change distro in user cp; i'm using 11.10
here pretty thread give needed information on bcm4313. also, might check bios , see if wireless can enabled/disabled there.
