i using frame 9. i've had odd table footer printing/display problem can't quite figure out.   here's happens:   i have table goes on 4 pages. has header , footer. header , footer both set repeat on every page. footer distinctive, black fill , white letters. several times i've opened document make edits (we're in midst of longer process) and, while scrolling through pages, i'll notice footer isn't @ bottom of page. instead somewhere in middle or higher on page. isn't on top of row (meaning, isn't obscuring beneath it, layers issue indesign or similar program). other pages in same table may or may not have same issue, i've seen both ways.   i thought maybe had somehow mis-pasted new row table , deleted mid-page "footer," have footer on pages disappear. hit undo button , problem miraculously fixed. until closed , opened file again. can repeat fix undo. have printed pdf before closing , reopening , had create pdf looks correct.   all basic ...

hello,   recently upgraded 8p273 due known bug indexing; solved problem.   however--i find time time (increasingly frequently, seems) control commands (cntl-c, cntl-v, cntl-m, etc.) stop working, in erratic fashion. i.e. 1 stop working (seemingly cntl-c copy things), cntl-v still works, after while cntl-v paste, in main frame not in marker dialogue box, etc. (difficult describe accurately).   eventually, close fm , restart it, , i'm few minutes.   i've tried downloading p277 (in case fixes this) 7mb of 32 download, , when try run it, far can see, nothing happens. not getting anywhere there.   i'm running on win xp sp3 under parallels 8.0.18494, don't know that's problem; cntl-c , cntl-v still work in other applications.   any ideas?   i'm near end of project (well, if can work done!) doesn't make sense upgrade new version now....   thanks help!   k even on real pc, number of things can cause keycodes eaten. skype, example gets blamed this. ...

i have project finished exception of minor tweaking. saved. going go later , finish. few days later started pulling clips new project in different project. i'm trying install 11.10 via wubi, i'm ending in busybox on first reboot. after initial countdown briefly displays "...iwatch....dm-xx... mount failed", shows splash screen , gives me false/misleading message ntfs volume locked , should run chkdsk windows (which robbed me of 2 hours of life). host ntfs volume clean, no errors. have fakeraid setup intel ich10r, 2x1tb merged, know problem i've used wubi-installed lucid year on same setup , had no problems. btw. if 'cd' busybox '/isodevice' see host ntfs volume, should not happen if can't read raid partitions. the problem device /dev/dm-2 cannot mounted @ /tmpmountpoint because it's mounted /isodevice. busybox if 'umount /isodevice' can 'mount /dev/dm-2 /tmpmountpoint -t ntfs'. running 'mount' shows '/isodevice' mounted '/..xyz../mainvolume' (not '/dev/dm-2'), , mainv...

hi, everyone, there easy way list , configure all of applications run @ startup? know there aren't being called gnome, because they're running @ startup in non-gnome sessions, , because aren't listed under system > preferences > startup applications. specifically, having trouble gwibber upon login. since don't use gwibber, wanted remove startup applications, wasn't listed in menu. , ran when logged non-gnome session. solved specific problem finding gwibber.desktop in /etc/xdg/autostart, , removing it. there must easier way identify of startup applications launched when user logs in. i'm sure there other services , applications autostarting don't need, , 1 of them cause problem. know how easily? i recall seeing post issue , can't find now, none of workarounds mentioned there worked me, here goes:   i working on book migrated fm 9 fm 11, , when print pdf, specify bookmarks want display in bookmarks tab of pdf setup selected files dialog. pdf prints fine, when want print book again, fm doesn't remember settings, forcing me set bookmarks scratch every time. has proven pretty tedious seeing i'm working old book in styles aren't intiutive, trying remember of them every time isn't best of fun. when print single file in book, settings saved properly.   in previous post, remember reading bug in fm , trying following suggested workarounds (none of worked): switching structured mode; saving desired setting in 1 file in book, printing document, , printing book (was supposed result in fm remembering settings entire book); saving book right after prints; selecting files in book , saving pdf, opposed selecting book , file > save pdf .   i'd glad know if has idea...

maybe it's because i'm not yet familiar pe 11 after using pe 9 long have 2 concerns pe 11.   with pe 9 there thin bar above photo displayed after 'scroll windows', actual pixels - fit screen - fill screen (my usual preference) - print size.   now pe 11, have select 'tool options' below photo , select 'fill screen'. have close obtrusive pop regain full screen. many added steps able select 'fill screen'.     with pe 9 choose have thin bar below photo titled 'project bin'.   now pe 11, photo bin bar taking way of lower screen. there way reduce it's thickness someyhing had pe9 , regain more of screen?   mac / 10.6.8. try using keyboard shortcuts:   cmd+minus (to zoom out) cmd+plus (to zoom in) cmd+zero fit screen   you can show or hide photo bin. i have searched internet trying find if possible no luck. i'm aware i'm able use wine, vmware, virtualbox, etc. run software os. have set system dual-boot between windows 7 , ubuntu 11.10. ideally, i'd able run windows programs (games of course) ubuntu, if possible. can't navigate appropriate directory , run executable wine since apparently windows filesystem doesn't support changing permissions (and ubuntu requires me change executable permission .exe file). suppose download torrent of .iso image windows 7 , set virtual box, if necessary, hoping avoid doing elaborate. have suggestions should do? keep in mind, i'm new today's linux since first linux install in on decade. taking time read this. not sure understand question ... if you're asking, in dual-boot setup linux installed on 1 partition , ms windows on another, can run ms windows apps wine? answer no. app...

hey guys! bought second external hard drive yesterday. did following steps: 1. connect old external hdd via usb 2. shows , mounts "exhdd1" in nautilus 3. shows sdc in gparted 4. connect new external hdd via usb in addition 5. doesn't show in nautilus or gparted sucks. tried other way round: 1. connect new external hdd via usb 2. shows "unknown" in nautilus (not mounted, of course. it's unformatted) 3. shows sdc in gparted 4. connect old external hdd via usb in addition 5. doesn't show in nautilus or gparted doing wrong? ideas? use both external hard drives. when connect usb key else connected @ same time, shows , mounts properly. are doing on laptop or pc? hdd's externally powered or through usb port? may machine cannot provide enough power both hdd's working. there error messages in log files?
