first time having issue since purchasing monthly access ps cc 3 weeks ago. used daily without issue until now.   open application, within 15sec there white empty pop rectangular box on screen , hour glass ticks away. can not start program/open file.  force quit trigger shows "photoshop not responding".   reboot mac did not sort this. checked cc , ps date.   should re-download app? reinstall solves problem, since worked.   you try reset prefernces.  start ps , hold down option cmd shift keys.  if fast enough reset window. created button , used open url file server containing video (.wmv).  when not in touch server (and outside of our lms), secondary window opens , advises cannot find webpage, expected , thought sign. when put course in lms , press button disappears , freezes , don't secondary window. unsure if lms requires additional settings or if have missed in settings.  if can advise totally grateful. most happening here clicking button , trying open web page window breaking scorm connection lms.   captivate doesn't allow insert .wmv video, need converting video file compatible format captivate can accept.  in scorm situation, video need placed in same folder swf file on lms server. ok here issue... have created buttons in photoshop captivate show text bubble when certian link/button clicked.   i not find way have text button , have rollover effect without creating image. hello everyone, new forum, new(ish) linux / ubuntu many people seem doing these days, i've decided setup small file server @ home, (re)using old pc laying around house. pc based on ecs kt600-a (v1.0) mb amd athlon xp 2200+ processor , 512mb ram. have installed ubuntu 10.04 server on brandnew wd 320 gb pata hdd , works charm (ssh, samba, mediatomb, transmission). mobo has 2 builtin sata (1.5gb/s) ports , added pci-sata controller board has 4 ports available(also 1.5gb/s). controller bit redundant, don't ask (i intending use another, older mobo initially). now, here question : want use 2tb hdd's expand storage space, mother board manufacturer says mobo recognizes hdd's 400gb in size see website . limitation due onboard sata controller chipset, or newer sil3114 controller chipset (the 1 on pci sata controller board) able see bigger disks? second question : hdd's can find on market nowadays either sataii (3gb/s) or sataiii (6gb/s). work fl...

i've updated application manager. i had sign in again. after signing in noticed big change. whole creative cloud thing has changed, offering cc versions now.   i downloaded couple of these cc versions photoshop , illustrator not in english. all cs6 applications in english. in dutch. gives me headache working in other language.   how convert english? very needed. please click on setting button in creative cloud on top right hand side , select prefrences. in prefrences panel option change language on installer.   after changing language try install software. after spending 10.000 years on getting soundcard working on 10.04 (mostly searching information how enable it) write small guide on how did on 12.04. add medibuntu repository . install alsa-firmware, i.e. in terminal, run code: sudo apt-get update && sudo apt-get install alsa-firmware . restart computer. in terminal, run code: alsa-mixer . arrow left/right until find <clock in>. arrow up/down select 44100 (default 48000). that's it! should work on 10.04 well, can not confirm mixed system there double installing different alsa-firmware versions , on... just confirmed guide works on ubuntu 10.04 well. hey,     as of may or may not know, magic lantern (3rd party software canon dslrs) support raw video. they store information in .raw files, no software supports other own. people have created software such rawmagic or raw2dng conversion .raw files lots of .dng files. there premiere pro plugin can import .raw files directly premiere, problem being can't access raw data.     i think can agree on how great media encoder chewing through bunch of footage, supporting codecs , formats out there.   so thought, possible have media encoder:   1) support .raw files magic lantern creates           a) launch adobe camera raw, can access raw data.           b) edit 1st frame different sequences           c) set framerate, format, codec ++           c) press play , enjoy cold coke.   if pos...

hello, new ubuntu, have searched forums issue there lot of posts external hard drives. if problem listed didn't see it. have desktop computer(from dell) runs on windows 7. have a(hp) laptop dual boots windows 7 , ubuntu 11.10(the dual boot accidental install). , have western digital 1tb external hard drive 3 equal(well close equal of 300gb each) partitions. 1 of partitions ntfs windows file backups(precautions have been taken in case goes wrong). partition has ubuntu 11.10 in it. , third partition empty @ moment. issue this: when external hard drive attached desktop, can restart computer external hard drive takes on , boot ubuntu, there purple boot loading screen lets me choose operating system use. seems work fine there. however, when attach hard drive laptop , restart desktop(the external drive wont take on when computer first turns on, on restarts) black screen with. error: hd0 out of disk grub rescue>_ have ran grub-update in laptops ub...

hallo,   ich wollte fragen ob es irgendwelche graviernde unterschiede gibt zwischen ps c6 und ps cc? und ob ich cc installieren kann ohne dass cs 6 gelöscht wird (weil ich doch neugierig bin ) ?   mfg große unterschiede gibt es in der funktionalität des camera raws, das wurde massiv verbessert, vor allem die linsenkorrektur. im detail sind manche korrekturen, wie die farbkorrektur neu programmiert und verbessert worden, anhand von einer auswahl freistellen, verwacklung reduzieren, neues verflüssigen, selektiver scharfzeichner. die meisten verbesserungen sind nicht offensichtlich und verbessern die qualität, die hammerfunktion fürs marketing gibt es nicht, aber die verbesserungen wirken sich tatsächlich beim arbeiten aus. ja, man kann beide cs6 und cc nebeneinander laufen lassen.
