hi there, thought id give ubuntu shot since new version out, version 12.04. uninstalled windows. there no direct 12.04 version on ubuntu.com website, downloaded 11.10 version. once downloaded 11.10 version, followed upgrade instructions on ubuntu website located here, https://wiki.ubuntu.com/precisepango...overview/beta1 guess im using version available, 4/3/2012. during install process, both monitors had same screen, so, mirroring 1 another. once installation completed, rebooted, , main monitor worked. main monitor connected dvi port of graphic card. secondary monitor connected vga port on same graphic card. in case wondering, im running x3 440 processor, 4 gb of ram, , geforce 8500 3gb of memory. first monitor viewsonic 19" lcd, second monitor mag innovation 19" lcd monitor. taskbar (which in windows @ bottom) on left side of screen on ubuntu. clicked system settings > additional drivers, install graphic drivers needed. there 2...
