Thread: Window freeze for 30-60 seconds - making me switch away from Ubuntu

my computer (samsung 9 series 900x3a-a04) freeze time time, state after time (30-60 seconds). using unity2d works fine, no freeze. thinking have driver problems, why work in unity2d? happens in application, , when perform "quick tasks" switching between application or dragging/dropping things etc. monitoring "dmesg" , there no additional logs coming there before freeze , after freeze. full dmesg attached.

don't know go now, , want use unity keeps me away it.

same problem able fix it?

i thinking have driver problems, why work in unity2d?

because ... unity 2d places less demands on graphics processor unity 3d.

if intel graphics processor isn't demands of unity 3d, other selecting 2d, there's nothing can it.
