hi forum,   we struggle bit creating seemless repeating pattern includes embedded images clipping masks applied. our pattern 550x550mm black square various embedded inserted on top. of these images have clipping masks applied hide unwanted areas. these images placed create seamless repeating pattern , includes areas overlap square. once create swatch pattern repeatable area becomes big includes unwanted areas hidden clipping masks. because repeatable area big it's not repeatable.   we tried various things in order solve issue. pathfinder/crop delete unwanted areas in images etc. none of them worked enough. we though of livetracing images, due complexity not option. do have our "cutting" in photoshop or know fancy tricks issues this?   appreaciate insight   kenneth kenneth,   what happens if create , place nostroke/nofill rectangle right size , position behind else, make sure selected , try again? i upgraded 4.1 4.4 touted new software d7100 nikon. when upgraded lost hierarchy of folders , many folders. when took david's lightroom lab tutorial said make sure set preferences correct install. followed instructions go prefs/ presets tab/ default catalog/ restore factory originals. video taught.   i lost of metadata, of keywording, templates , detailed info entered line line of place, time, local, copyright, sub-location , keywords there. had 60 or so. factory. weddings, portraits, outdoor. i spent 5 hours talking 3 techs in new dehli, india. none of them recover data. we found older catalogs, folders too.   is there way restore metadata? tried installing library no avail. thanks jdc   later same day - it has gotten worse. collection spent afternoon on disappeared when closed lightroom , reopened it. poof. gone. , 1 star ratings in main shoot selected them from. poof. , metadata rebuilt on last 2 days.   what chances when downloaded 4.4 adobe got copy corrupt? if ...

i run program on hp p2-1140, windows 7 64-bit os, 3 gb ram (2.6. usable), amd e-300 apu radeon hd graphics, 1.3ghz, 800 gb hdd , blu-ray burner, incredibly slow, when open program it's slow. open when start computer, don't open else, shut many processes maintain it, doesn't faster. saw specs of computer more required program, still, works slow. use paste videos, add tiny opening, name video or event , that's it, try burn project dvd, , it's incredibly slow, , when try else trying see folder or see desktop, crashes, , entire burn goes ground.   normally use sony hd handycam camera hdr-cx580v record videos , edit them in premiere elements 10, when try edit video recorded ipad or iphone it's slow. yesterday, trying make instant slideshow of 70 photos , 7 minutes , took 11 hours finish it, when tried burning on dvd (it like, 750 mb entire slideshow) , in middle of encoding crashed, tried again , crashed, had save mpeg make fast, because ran out of time, looked terri...

just getting hang of illustrator after using coreldraw extensively many years. 1 of frustrating issues ommission of tool used use in corel. tool transparency gradient tool, drew big red box click on transparency tool in toolbox, click anywhere on red box, drag point (in direction) on box or outside , box contain transparency gradient. cannot find similar tool in illustrator, not without setting gradient, setting angle, changing second colour opaque, rather user un friendly , doesnt edit in 'real time'. tool brilliant creating blends (instead of using blend tool) , creating 3d type graphics or fonts had highlights. remember glass buttons used create?     surely latest version of illustrator can this? missing? whatyou missing thattey different products.   what might read gradient annotator. allow drag gradient tool in direction , adjus things midway point , color , degree of transparency each color stop , allow add , remove color stops live , interactively desire.   ...

i purchased photoshop cs6 online store called software tech store. surprised when recieved package in mail containing small cardboard box (opened) photoshop disk, no invoice, no manuel, no information, nothing used disk.   when contacted them serial number missing, , other concerns, told had emailed it.
