How to fix slow performance on Premiere Elements 10

i run program on hp p2-1140, windows 7 64-bit os, 3 gb ram (2.6. usable), amd e-300 apu radeon hd graphics, 1.3ghz, 800 gb hdd , blu-ray burner, incredibly slow, when open program it's slow. open when start computer, don't open else, shut many processes maintain it, doesn't faster. saw specs of computer more required program, still, works slow. use paste videos, add tiny opening, name video or event , that's it, try burn project dvd, , it's incredibly slow, , when try else trying see folder or see desktop, crashes, , entire burn goes ground.

 

normally use sony hd handycam camera hdr-cx580v record videos , edit them in premiere elements 10, when try edit video recorded ipad or iphone it's slow. yesterday, trying make instant slideshow of 70 photos , 7 minutes , took 11 hours finish it, when tried burning on dvd (it like, 750 mb entire slideshow) , in middle of encoding crashed, tried again , crashed, had save mpeg make fast, because ran out of time, looked terrible, , took 2 hours.

 

i don't know if should add more ram or else. liked program, incredibly slow, , need make faster. advice?

what type of processor have computer? if "1.3 ghz" processor clock speed, not sure if invest in computer. processor classed single core, dual core or other? assuming have misunderstood "1.3 ghz" , how relates processor....

 

1. upgrade installed ram 3 gb 8 gb if motherboard supports that. premiere elements 10 on windows 7 64 bit, have 64 bit application can take advantage of 64 bit system resources.

 

2. how free hard drive space have of "800 gb" hdd? should consider supplemental drive @ least 1 tb (internal or external, ntfs formating).

 

3. video card drive date according web site of manufacturer of video card?

 

4. pixel dimensions of 70 photos went slideshow?

 

please consider.

"Could not fill because there are not enough opaque source pixels" - not solved by any other thread

i'm getting error posted in thread's title , have no idea why.  working image not transparent in way. 100% opacity.  in fact, doesn't matter work with, every time try fill selection on layer in doc, error.  ideas???  thanks   scott probably see screen shot of photoshop layers panel open. at point guess can make wrong layer selected, once see screen, else may pop out @ me, or else reading thread. Why can't I change the billing info for my account?

hi all,   about 3 weeks ago issued new corporate cc number. have been trying since find way update in website. everytime try load billing info message 'there has been error on our side, please try again later.' has been happening weeks now. decided, if they're not going fix it, i'll call support.   i reported bug support, no response.   i called support , sat on hold update cc. hung on when should have been answered. happened twice (i'm persistent).   i registered call-back. got call-back, , told needed go person. got warm transfer because of above problem.   this person told me needed talk yet different team, , schedule call me in 1-2 hours.   it has been on week, maybe week , half since supposed receive call-back, , ticket updated yesterday; they've tried reach me no success (yeah, right), them do? left note: call me @ number within next 4 hours, , can settle this. guess got pacific time support team, because called 16 hours later (i'm gmt, way; company u...
