my first time using prelude cs6 yesterday , had success ingesting, marking clips (into subclips, comments, etc.), saving marked movies, , them sending subclips premiere. dumped premiere expected.   however, morning started new project in premiere , planned on using same clips marked in prelude. wanted little more marking opened prelude project saved yesterday , movie files there none of subclips, comments, or other markers showing up.   the thing can think of did not rough cut in prelude, don't see why mean losing markers source footage.   am missing something? appreciated! thanks... -john i'd confirm steps: 1. ingest clips in pl add markers(subclip, comment, etc.) , save them. 2. create 1 new project in ppro , import same clips. 3. open project created @ step 1 in pl.   then @ step 2 , 3, found markers lost, right?   to locate issue quickly, if possible, share 1 of footage me? please reach me @ wyue@adobe.com . thanks. hi. few days ago created second account on 11.10 64 bit install girlfriend use. ever since have been having issues logging account. basically, when log in, chromium, firefox , other things freeze , thing works log out , log in again. tried eliminating account in attempt solve issue keep on getting same problem. make matters worse, tried changing account standard (from administrator) , when trying go administrator account message saying authentication attempt unsuccessful. tried running sudo command in terminal , gives me message not among sudo users , reported. can me? update. able recover administrator privilege. still stuck weird behaviour: when first log in, tends freeze, mouse click hardly works , icons appear grey. can press contrl alt del , log out. log in again , works fine. ideas? i'm ingesting red raw (r3d) files directly red mag (memory card). default file names on ingest root folder on memory card files gets same name. original filenames on card nice since start camera id + reel number + underscore + camera position + take number + underscore + code make unique. ideally name ingested files first part of filename (include take number) if that's not possible ok keeping full filename.   i tried create file rename preset in prelude cc chose filename don't work. preset still use root folder name files ingested.   is way me fix or bug expected fixed? hi -   this sounds bug me. our dev , qe teams off week adobe has week long company shut down.  have them team investigate further when return next week , see if can recreate.   thanks! michael More discussions in Adobe Prelude adobe

so have 240gb ssd, 160gb 7200 hdd, , 2x1tb hdd in hardware raid 1. installed windows on 240gb drive. want install ubuntu 11.10 on 160gb drive. downloaded 11.10 alternate iso. installer recognizes have raid configurationm , asks if i'd active raid. if yes or no, no drives found setup partitions on. tried putting sata controller ahci mode still didn't help. gparted able locate drives , partitions fine. should go here? if 160gb disk has been used in fakeraid before, has meta data leftovers. installer ignore it. can remove meta data live mode in terminal by: make sure use correct device /dev/sdx sudo dmraid -e -r /dev/sd x important: since have disks in fakeraid, make sure use above command on correct disk. if use on of raid disks break array. also, make sure have disk plugged port doesn't belong raid function. 2 ports part of raid function. if have more on board, need 160gb disk in...

at point (after upgrade oneiric, not immediately), have been unable determine duplex setting application (mainly libreoffice , acroread, others). every print job follows default setting system-config-printer, regardless of set [printer] properties in application. obviously, not fatal bug, since can open system-config-printer before each print job , set it. however, rather not. same problem replicates on 32-bit desktop, 32-bit netbook , 64-bit desktop. have latest updates, including latest cups. have no idea how go trying investigate further, let alone solve it. suggestions? thank you. edit: same problem occurs both hp officejet pro l3680 , ricoh aficio sp 3410sf. i don't know following thread. run same thing brother printers & envelopes (paper size/type). hp seems have own printer subsystem. wonder if have same problem? my object fitting keyboard shortcuts not work.  however, these functions work fine when selected dropdown menus.  example, 'ctrl+alt+c' nothing, selecting 'fit frame content' dropdown menu works fine.  other object fitting options.  use these keyboard shortcuts time , them work.  how can fix this?    i using indesign cs6 windows (64bit).  have tried reloading/updating preferences , reinstalling indesign.  additionally, cannot add these shortcuts keyboard shortcuts defaults, system thinks loaded.  here, when attempt add 'ctrl+alt+c'  in 'new shortcut' box (under: edit - keyboard shortcuts) nothing happens - cannot add , not appear in box when press keys.  when attempt others 'ctrl+alt+e', et el, appear in box , assigned defaults (as should be).  ideas?  said, typically use these shortcuts regularly bit of pain not work currently.  did try copy set of custom shorcuts earlier version? taht might work cs5 or 5.5, e...

i've downloaded indesign cc , having problem various selection tools.   with text selection tool active, double-click text frame , hold, , cursor placed on text inside frame. can no longer drag cursor highlight text.   when click again start highlighting text, text becomes inactive, text frame becomes active , attempt highlight drags frame. tool panel shows text selection tool still active.   once double click text frame, way can edit text use shift + arrows.   in preferences > type have enabled , disabled "triple click select line", there no change in behavior described above.   similarly, if switch hand tool , grab portion of page, frame happen on moves instead of page. grabbing on part of page there no frame nothing @ all.   in fact, behavior same no matter tool in toobar have active: rectangle tool not draw rectangle, moves text frame; same pencil tool, etc.   the document upgrade cs6, creating new document not change behavior. i've followed ...

up until today had no issues of develop presets, reason today of 3rd party purchased presets not working. became issue today , i've never had problem them working , applying photo. standard lr presets work fine, , of 3rd party "user presets", except few of them (more few, idea). i'm hoping can me because experience chat support has been extremely unhelpful , frustrating. since these 3rd party presets had better contact manufacturer of these presets. since lr presets working fine, not lr issue.   but before going - frustrating - way of contacting 3rd party manufactureres, i'd try un-install , re-install these presets - not lr!
