Thread: Dual boot, Win7+Ubu, Ubuntu Installed but has no option to boot.

hey, title pretty says it. have computer partitioned off hdd on setup dual boot system. have windows 7 on first partition, 100gigs ntfs, have ubuntu on second, ext4 200gig. ran ubuntu installation, when prompted restart, did , computer rebooted windows. have no options select on other dual boot setup. wondering if have change in bios?

you need add entry windows boot menu using easy bcd (http://neosmart.net/easybcd/) (free non-commercial use). open , add entry ubuntu , set grub2, not grub legacy. here tutorial pictures: http://www.linuxbsdos.com/2011/10/27...hard-drives/2/.
