Duplicate layer in Photoshop CC

hello.

what happened duplicate layer in photoshop cc?

in photoshop cs6 was:

- if select number of raster or shape layers , press cmd-j - layers copied , placed on top on layer palette. in history added "duplicate layer". it's perfect.

in photoshop cc is:

- if select number of raster  layers , press cmd-j - layers copied , placed on top on layer palette. in history added "duplicate layer". it's perfect. but!

- if select number of shape  layers , press cmd-j - layers combined 1 , placed on top on layer palette 1 layer. in history added "shape layer via copy". it's bad.

i don't want 1 combined shape layer. still want number of shape layer copies. why combines? there settings turn combine off?

thanks.

hmmm...  right.  not keyboard friendly workaround, if select shape layers , drage new layer icon in layers panel, copies each shape layer individually.  or if select layers, right click , chose duplicate layers copies each shape layer individually.  not sure why ctrl (cmd) j produces combined shape layer.
