okay going sound crazy, because is. have old pentium 4 dell pc , macbook pro snow leopard. i'm trying run ubuntu 10.04 iso in virtualbox , ssh pc running lucid puppy in ram (live cd). i've got far setting pc's hard drive ext3 , swap partition, configured ssh on both computers, , got ubuntu running fine in virtualbox. ubuntu has mounted target hard drive , appears folder on desktop. can access puppy's root directory including mounted target hard drive. however, start ubuntu installer, folder disappears , given option vbox installation. know i'm missing simple here can feel it. great!
