i installed latest version of ubuntu week or 2 ago. going along , tried figure out how network other computer has windows 7 in it. can see in network, , asks password, password used log in win7 computer not work ubuntu...

well, did surfing trying problem solve myself, , think screwed bit since seems latest version of samba won't install right or or other, , sudo password somehow stopped working...

i'm thinking reinstalling ubuntu scratch again (have use usb thumb drive since cd player on ubuntu computer out)... if that, steps need taken ubuntu , windows 7 see shared folder on opposite computer? that's i'm trying figure out how share folder moving stuff between 2 computers isn't hassle.

use thumbdrives that, prefer way works better in networking since wife wants on computer @ same time am... want able see shared folders when else using other computer, etc.

also, there way make key ring not require password every time log in? i'm assuming there's someway "remember"?

also, while i'm posting here, related issue -- ubuntu computer laptop, hp pavillion dv9700 or similar... can't blasted sound work on @ all. think made vista, somehow blasted restore cd wasn't cd, hard drive partition got corrupted... installed flavor of windows on it, , never driver work again... sound few seconds , it'd go silent again. last night noticed sound on ubuntu it, , same thing happened happened other windows besides visita... few seconds of sound , silence... it's driver can't work other vista... it's odd heck. it's been 2 years since i've looked solutions sound issue have never been able find 1 works.

your thread has different problems in it. such threads don't work here.

suggest spin off second problem new thread. way, folks known how solve problem see , respond.

"Could not fill because there are not enough opaque source pixels" - not solved by any other thread

i'm getting error posted in thread's title , have no idea why.  working image not transparent in way. 100% opacity.  in fact, doesn't matter work with, every time try fill selection on layer in doc, error.  ideas???  thanks   scott probably see screen shot of photoshop layers panel open. at point guess can make wrong layer selected, once see screen, else may pop out @ me, or else reading thread. Why can't I change the billing info for my account?

hi all,   about 3 weeks ago issued new corporate cc number. have been trying since find way update in website. everytime try load billing info message 'there has been error on our side, please try again later.' has been happening weeks now. decided, if they're not going fix it, i'll call support.   i reported bug support, no response.   i called support , sat on hold update cc. hung on when should have been answered. happened twice (i'm persistent).   i registered call-back. got call-back, , told needed go person. got warm transfer because of above problem.   this person told me needed talk yet different team, , schedule call me in 1-2 hours.   it has been on week, maybe week , half since supposed receive call-back, , ticket updated yesterday; they've tried reach me no success (yeah, right), them do? left note: call me @ number within next 4 hours, , can settle this. guess got pacific time support team, because called 16 hours later (i'm gmt, way; company u...
