i installed acrobat xi pro , i'm attempting sign pdf. according help, should able scan signature using webcam, don't see option available me. options are: type signature, draw signature, use image, or use certificate.   i have macbook air built-in camera. i'm running os x 10.8.4. doing wrong? it "use image" option. scan signature webcam , save image computer (your webcam software should that). sign pdfs image. i adding text pdf by: click tools top right of acrobat, beneath x. under content | edit text & objects, select edit document text. hold down ctrl before place cursor on pdf.   to edit font size , other properties: select text, right click, choose properties , enter relevant font properties.   this requires me select every instance of text in document , manually change font size. there way program acrobat such new text entered document automatically default specific font , size? i switched photoshop cc.   i noticed performance slow, memory usage huge. @ first thought might because processing larger panoramas previous ( eg merging 25 images @ 21 mp each ).   then ssd drive crashed when sysem ran out of memory, , can't recover it.   i reinstalled mac osx 10.7.5 on original hd , re-installed ps. network bandwidth has jumped under 1 gb uploaded per day, 20gb, 30gb, 44 gb uploaded.   i don't know how of can traced ps cc, other it's slow performance , high memory usage, it' suspicious coincidence.   tom legrady hi legrady,   i'm moving thread photoshop general forum should able find better in beginner forum. i'm new using livecycle , adobe forms- know question redundant.  have read several threads regarding same issue i'm having, don't see follow-up responses provide solid solutions.    i have created fillable form using livecycle designer 8.0.  need able allow users submit filled out form pdf via email (using outlook-all users uave outlook on stations).  i've adjusted button properties (using button, not email submit button), adjusted xml code (to submit pdf instead of xml), etc.  may have done or adjusted things negate each other.  able process work fine using acrobat 8.0 pro, button nothing when using adobe reader xi.    users using adobe reader xi when filling out & emailing form.   all responses appreciated!  usual..there's time crunch project.  looks need reader extend form.  acrobat pro has capability perform functions after automatically.  if want reader have same capability, need use pro 'reader extend' pdf...

hi all. post have been on uf while now. still learning linux/ubuntu time goes on. have strange problem of sudden. i've had 11.10 on machine since release. no problems. not sure when problem started occuring machine not reboot/shutdown via ubuntu. when logged in , select shutdown or restart, logs me off , directed main login screen. attempting shutdown or restart there renders useless well. menu pops up. restart/shutdown selected. nothing happens. ideas? in advance! i saw same issue myself. had no idea how fix it. had re-install because of pilot error during initial installation. fixed issue. being said, take @ /etc/shutdown.allow file , make sure have permissions shutdown , reboot... steps follows # sudo vi /etc/shutdown.allow arrow down until reach below set of strings and compare... match? %shutdown all=(root) nopasswd: /sbin/reboot %shutdown all=(root) nopasswd...
