Thread: what is this "?? .gvfs"?

can explain going on directory?
i've heard supposed gnome virtual file system root can not access it.
if "ls -al" shows:
d????????? ? ? ? ? ? .gvfs
if root "ls -al .gvfs" shows:
ls: cannot access .gvfs: permission denied
can delete since appears there's nothing in it?

that odd! ls -al command should give more output
code:
total 12 dr-x------ 2 user user 0 2012-03-15 09:02 . drwxr-xr-x 107 user user 12288 2012-03-15 14:44 ..
however, have said virtual folder takes no real disk space, , remade next time start gnome session; try , you'll see mean. not sure can delete it; try , see yourself.

edit: no can not delete or send trash, rather thought.
