Thread: No sound-card after Kernel Update


after last kernel update sound card driver has disappeared.
dell latitude e6410

system output below. tried refreshing drivers in alsa no luck. suggestions?

believe problem directory empty:

/lib/modules/3.0.0-16-generic/kernel/sound/pci/hda

previous versions have files in directory. tried copying previous kernels files didn't work. how can populate directory properly?
