i'm new linux of types, , installed ubuntu 11.10 i'm not familiar terminal, , want convert large number of png format pictures jpeg. tried phatch, wanted know stuff image quality , things.. want convert them. 1 know how batch "convert" command? can them separately, thats no 100 pictures.. never mind.. got if wants know, did ls of files wanted convert, pasted file names in gedit, did find , replace replace spaces \n (copy , paste, don't type, space gedit "find" box.. took me half hour figure out..) copied whole thing new document , replaced "png" "jpg" paste gedit right had use librecalc , put both files columns, paste gedit , replace tabs spaces. every file name looked "convert img_blahblah.png img_blahblah.jpg" (no quotes) typed directory of saved .txt file in terminal , worked easy! hope helps.. hi everyone. have serval professional running 11.10 x64. has nvidia geforce gtx 485m using 280.13 drivers nvidia. in quite few games try play (oilrush, nexuiz, savage 2, in heroes of newerth) gpu fan stops once temperature hits around 85-90 c. if don't notice , shut game down, laptop overheats , forced shutdown. got idea why gpu fan stop spinning instead of spin harder when it's getting hot? , more importantly, how prevent this? hello there.   i have been importing avchd footage ppro cs5 , each time end repeated files different 1 digit same clip , same file size.   i have been dragging , dropping 2 folders camera's hard drive (avchd , avf_info) directly folder in external hard drive, importing 2 folders ppro. other folder on camera's harddrive 1 stores still images. preset in ppro choose 1080p - avc-i 100 1080p30.   is able tell me why clips being replicated? can delete ones?   thanks!   david this indicates spanned files treat 1 logical clip. can delete copies, , in future using media browser find clips bring them in single copies. alright, has been driving me crazy 6 hours now. i've got 2008 macbook , i've been trying 3 operating systems running: lion, ubuntu, , windows 7(i've been using refit bootloader). installing lion , windows 7 works perfectly, after install ubuntu goes hell. here exact procedure: -start hard drive that's been erased using mac diskutility -create 3 partitions in sizes want. both linux , windows partitions start out fat-32. -at point running "diskutil list" reveals 4 partitions: efi partition , 3 new partitions numbered disk0s1 through 0s4 -install lion on 1 partition -install refit -install windows 7 on partition, includes step in partition formatted ntfs @ point works fine. then -i go through ubuntu installation procedure, in manually select disk0s3 installation ext4 filesystem. make sure linux specific loader set install on sda3 -now when reboot computer refit usual. if select mac boot mac. if select linux grub , can boot linux. i...

un windows limpio, listo para recibir la instalacion. he intentado todo, realicé una limpieza total del equipo, borre todo rastro de todos los productos adobe, desde el creative cloud hasta photoshop pasando incluso por flash player. despues de eliminar todo, borre cuanta carpeta quedaba de adobe y limpie archivos temporales y el registro de windows.   instalacion correcta de todo, menos de adobe muse despues teniendo la maquina perfecta, instale desde cero el creative cloud y todo el software que compré se instalo correctamente menos uno de los más importantes para mi: adobe muse.   intentos de des-instalacion - instalacion limpia de adobe muse sin exito la instalacion de adobe la repetido en muchas ocaciones, lo desistalado desde el panel de control o ejecutando el "adobe creative cloud cleaner tool". al momento de querer instalarlo desde creative cloud se da un proceso normal y "sin errores" e incluso llego hasta el aviso de instalacion exitosa de adobe...
