Thread: ASUS N53J No sound

g'day guys, have been trying ever sound working on asus
laptop , have tried see if need unmute in settings
no avail. headphone jack works speakers don't.
have ideas might able try? older versions
of ubuntu worked sound not current version 11.10
below sound settings show. sorry in advance if have
wrong information not great computers.
