Thread: Sylpheed spell checking non-default language

i installed lubuntu in english write mails in both english , german. checked sylpheed faq , says in order enable spell check have add "xterm -e ispell %s" external editor under preferences. read in mail debian mailing list can use aspell well: "xterm -e aspell check %s". installed xterm , aspell-de, selected "de" default input language , added "xterm -e aspell check %s" external editor.
if type german words, not underlined anymore, if click on external editor button in compose window run aspell spell check, i'm offered english words.
ideas on how fix this?
