Folders in Files Panel won't stay collapsed

there 2 folders in files panel won't stay collapsed.  when open dreamweaver, expanded.  if click arrow next them few times collapse, open other file or folder re-expand themselves.  first started when using dreamweaver cs5 1 folder refused collapse. year later, had updated dreamweaver cs6, , had 2 folders wouldn't stay collapsed. morning updated dreamweaver cc, , same 2 folders still won't stay collapsed!

i searched forum , found people same issue going 2007, have yet find solution.  few people recommended editing windows registry - i'm using mac version.  several people said had luck deleting site settings , re-creating - seems bit extreme, plus several people said started happening again later folder!

does have permanent solution??

also - fyi.  if rename folder, stops happening.  can close , restart dreamweaver , stays collapsed. but, rename folder - if after closing , reopening program - starts doing again!!

not sure if related either - saw in else's post setting related files automatically, instead of manual, fixed problem.  did try this, no avail.  tried many times turn off related files (by unchecking enable related files box in preferences) keeps re-enabling itself!
