Thread: kernel thread helper error please help


hello people

have problem when install new ubuntu versions 11.10 , 12.04 in past versions working fine new generic versions

problem when put ubuntu installation live cd or usb , run face error
kernel thread helper +0x6/0x10
can reboot click f6 , type "live-install acpi=off"
, work install when finish install , reboot computer , try run ubuntu grub start loading , kernel thread helper +0x6/0x10 again , freeze
in recovery mode i'll same problem
how can skip guys ? how can should down acpi grup ?? plz plz need ur im stuck in ubuntu 10.04 bcz of .

note:
new generics ones begins 3.x.x.x.x error pc
old ones such 2.6.32.38.44 working fine

pc :
processor: intel(r) pentium(r) 4 cpu 3.00ghz (2 cpus)
memory: 1006mb ram
hdd:500
vga:intel(r) 82865g graphics controller
sorry bad english

method 1 listed here should allow boot , change grub's settings don't have every time boot.

if need additional assistance, please feel free ask.
