i have created collection of 127 images in bridge 5.5.  images added beyond 127 persist duration of session, dissappear when bridge closed.  there limit collection size? is there limit collection size?     no, not knowledge. collections have been troublesome in bridge , must not rely on them solely if have put lot of work in collection use either labeling, renaming easiest add keyword collected files when in trouble can revert via 'back door'   meanwhile check if have no strange characters in filename ' or / etc because causing troubles.   also check if have correct read , write permission files, folders , disks using.   and maybe try reset of preferences can cure strangest of problems. all,   i have document single layer , single group (groupitem) in layer. unfortunately, didn't create .ai file, don't know in group; however, there appears bunch of complex clipping masks , gradient effects, etc. nested within it. i've scripted few tasks resizing group no ill effect... in other words, works expected:   app.activedocument.activelayer.pathitems[0].resize(50,50);   however, try move/translate/reposition group, effects/masks seem go wonky, i've tried of below no success (200 arbitrary test):   app.activedocument.activelayer.pathitems[0].left = 200; app.activedocument.activelayer.pathitems[0].translate(200,0);   i have no problem moving group around on document mouse... effects/masks still nice , clean, i'm confused why can't same thing via javascript. try following:   app.activedocument.activelayer.groupitems[0].resize(50,50);   app.activedocument.activelayer.groupitems[0].left = 200; app.activedocument.activelayer.groupitems[0].translat...
