laptop - hard drive & RAM setup advice

hi there,

i'm customising new laptop video editing , after reading thread "generic guideline disk setup", decided replace optical bay , install third hard drive.

my idea install os , programs on msata ssd. however, ssd available not has great write speed. "slow" write speed compromise performance of system?

i have option of replacing msata faster one, however, 120gb (120gb kingston ssdnow ms200 msata (upto 550mb/sr | 520mb/sw)

or better replace 1 of hdd faster ssd?

as ram, 16gb enough? or should go 32gb?

thanks advice.

system:

processor

intel® core™i7 quad core mobile processor i7-3840qm (2.80ghz) 8mb

ram

16gb samsung 1333mhz sodimm ddr3 memory (2 x 8gb)

msata ssd

256gb crucial m4 msata solid state drive (upto 500mb/sr | 260mb/sw)

hard disk

750gb wd scorpio black wd7500bpkt, sata 3 gb/s, 16mb cache (7200 rpm)

2nd hard disk

750gb wd scorpio black wd7500bpkt, sata 3 gb/s, 16mb cache (7200 rpm)

looks specs. 16 gb maximum, if can install 4 sticks, may want see if 16 gb suffice purposes. ssd exchanged samsung 840 pro. m4 pretty old technology.
