Thread: Unable to delete file after cancelling unzip

for reasons unknown, canceled unzip midway ^c. in directory see both foobar.zip , foobar. nonetheless, when try "rm foobar", error message

rm: cannot remove `foobar': no such file or directory

or

rm: cannot remove `foobar.zip': no such file or directory

similar commands same error message (mv foobar, sudo rm -i foobar, etc.). in case makes difference, dual boot in oneiric , windows, , these files on windows partition. (i cannot delete them or rename them when booting windows either, tells me files corrupted.)

thoughts?

solved own problem. ran chkdsk in windows, defragmented these files , gone. still not sure problem was, now.
