Thread: pam_usb X eCryptfs

has been successful using pam_usb (login authentication usb flash drive) encrypted home directory?

configured pam_usb , able authenticate flash drive.
however, when restarted computer, gdm no longer log me in. testing unencrypted home worked, revealing problem encrypted home.

there directory ~/.pamusb/ pam_usb stores one-time pad , seems searches file upon login. since home in encrypted, can't find it.

moved ~/.pamusb/ unencrypted area , made symbolic link unencrypted home directory. pam_usb can open unencrypted home, still won't log me in (des)encrypted home.

because pam_usb blind user password, makes sense can't open encrypted home. same reason why gnome-keyring asks password. in case, pam_usb sucks...

don't know if doing wrong, or if problem pam_usb. none of how to's found talk encrypted homes.

if using pam_usb encrypted home, please, let me know how did it.

thank you.

p.s. searched forum , there 1 post mentioned ecryptfs + pam_usb, op said going start new thread on topic, couldn't find.
