Thread: Displaying Gnucash ~ Understanding the Package Process
whilst current known bug unity , java sorted (hopefully fixed 12.04) decided use gnucash moneydance had unstable issues ubuntu after introduction of unity. wanted gnucash in earlier years @ time there no gnucash windows. it's there windows thought things sorted , share account data friends, irrespective of operating system used.
loaded fine, , behaviour perfect. when drop ubuntu 11.10 oneiric, grip bars not adjust panels can't see info want. handles appear, drag them on whoosh let go jump back.
understand gnucash likes updated, , should updated. have latest file called: gnucash_2.4.10-1_amd64.deb.
how proceed, , might existing gnucash files in /etc unsure going ahead.
advice appreciated.
1 way or another, annoying thing keeps taking me windows , love ubuntu.

oh dear, 1 week after posting this, , no suggestion or pointer.
own searches suggest me issue may databases each version (linux , windows) uses, although can't see how affects display.
interestingly, installed more recent version of gnucash in ubuntu on another, older machine , has displayed fine. it's dual-boot machine, lenovo thinkpad, having display/re-sizing problem, in ubuntu only.
absolute beginner forum surely not best platform type of issue.
if knows mor suitable place air it, i'd grateful!
