i trying various charts/tables show when viewer clicks on link within page of text using show/hide. instance, click on "figure 5.1" in text , figure appears (along button subsequently closes figure , viewer sees original page of text again).  however, text in of figures , tables quite badly "fuzzy" when open up.  if place same images directly onto page fine. have tried saving images pdf, ai, eps, jpg , orignal indesign text - same result.   should showing/hiding these items in other way multi-state objects?   i using indesign cs6 , need file viewable on ipad.   thanks. how "figures" placed indesign?   is text frame typed text?   is placed screenshot, image on hard drive or other?   was copied , pasted in programme?     the way can think of make text fuzzy if text within image placed indesign - exported low-resolution. hello, kind of new developing iphone simplified responses appreciated.   i building iphone/pad movie player , have working splendidly using external f4v's.  unfortunately when deploy ipad, interface, buttons , work splendidly, program not see movie files nor draw video player (i using standard flv playback component).    i including videos in files ios package, maybe directory being seen differently assuming location same location relative flash player...  me in same directory?   any idea might doing wrong?   thanks all f4vs h.264, , flv playback component plays on2 vp6 on ios. either switch on2 vp6, or play h.264 videos inside stagewebview or stagevideo. i've been reading other threads regarding slow typing in indesign, haven't come across problem experiencing. problem typing becomes progressively slow when typing in text frames, i.e. fast when begin typing in empty frame, text frame fills text, becomes slow.   i using 2 types of text frames on each page in document: 1 no styling whatsoever, , other object style including border, 2 rounded corners, , margins. progressively slow typing occurs in second type of text frame .   i typing relatively small (7mb, less 300 pages), text-only file no columns, cross-referencing, pasting other applications, linking of text frames, or of other usual culprits slow typing have been reading about. nothing else in indesign slow, including typing in other type of text frame (without borders, etc.).   any ideas? its rounded corners causing slow down.  not sure radius using, having compute how text fit rounded corners more expensive when text frame simple box.  1 suggestion allev...

i upgraded cs6 , functionality of mini bridge has changed dramatically. here's issues:   multiple folders of images along subfolders: when click on main folder, none of subfolders shown within browser window.     keyboard commands not follow proper folder path actions used to: when used command arrow or down arrow, drill , out of folder directories.  when use command, not show next level up. tiny path on top. no subfolders shown within browser window. it's second window in navigation in cs5 removed. why?? double-click folder show subfolders... we have authors complaining folders , files disappearing.  if go folder or file , click on "recent changes" tab, see messages "hidden userx 7/15/2013 9:41 am."  commonly in folder user listed not working in , file did not touch.  know chases rh make file hidden?  we'd stop inadvertently hiding files , folders?  , might best way "unhide" them without introducing more errors folers/files? i presume using robosourcecontrol have never come across "recent changes" tab. don't use application can take advice pinch of salt, no 1 else offering advice thought i'd chip in.   i have never heard of issue before source control application. may worth checking server permissions on locations. has started happening? if so, has changed? hi all,   i'm trying troubleshoot issue indesign cc7. tend work on documents our server @ work, , each time network connection interrupted (i undock laptop walk around, switchover wireless wired, brief hiccup in lan, etc) , have indesign document open, recieve error message indesign i've lost network connection document (fair enough).   when acknowledge message, indesign becomes unresponsive , crashes. you'd think network connection reestablished (usually fraction of second), connection document reestablished, or @ worst, i'd have manually. when restart indesign, able enter recovery mode , work back, on occasion, lose quite substantial portion of work. has lead inaccuracies , duplication, becasue think i've taken information out of 1 portion of manual , put somewhere else, in reality, information removed has been replaced during recovery process.   i don't understand why program crashes each time network connection lost. obvious answer work locally , save on net...

     i'm having trouble increasing default session size 30 seconds while using multi-track feature.  whenever click on duration, , enter new time limit, defaults 30 seconds.  suggestions? that's it's supposed do. if set track record directly it, session grow recording length plus bit, or if place existing file it, same thing happen. chances though if grow session this, , remove of tracks it's empty session again retain length, , can save session new default length. wouldn't bother - system designed seems work fine.
