Thread: MCP67 HDMI audio lucid 10.04 fully updated


a little info: im using stock video driver atm not proprietary drivers fresh install did apt-get purge pulseaudio eliminate issues video works flawlesslyi have checked alsamixer , made sure not mm , was/is @ 100 on volume

tv vizio 42 inch , if makes diffrence headless install apt-get installed xubuntu-desktop

lspci info

so what..
have problem no audio on hdmi ?

suspect full hdmi audio capabilities possible when using nvidia driver not sure chipset hdmi audio..

dmesg | hda
ls -al /proc/asound/card0/eld#*

if eld#0.0 etc files exist post contents
i.e.
cat /proc/asound/card0/eld#1.0
