720P export faster than 1080P, all else being equal?
i'm looking @ reducing youtube videos doing 1080p 720p because sense average screen size, there won't noticeable decline in quality.
i'm interested in reducing export time. changed frame size change export time, if other settings equal? if not, depend on bitrate?
last question on bitrate: how can reduce bitrate 1080p bitrate when going 720p quality "correlates" frame size reduction, more or less, , won't show noticeable decrease in quality screen sizes?
let me start saying use 1920x1080 screen, dislike when people post 720p. have go youtube rather play embedded file full screen. in youtube have larger frame set 1280x720.
i have never measured export time 1080 vs 720, guess reducing frame size require longer export times. check youself. easy enough do.
as bitrate, use youtube suggestions starting point. https://support.google.com/youtube/answer/1722171?hl=en
when using 720p instead of 1080p, google suggests dropping bitrate 50k 30k on advanced tab, or more "normal" video. 8k 5k.
since number of pixels drops 2073600 921600, bit surprised don't drop 45% of original instead of around 60%. guess know doing. perhaps overhead hinders ding math.
