Does a reinstall cause media to go offline?

hardware & software specs:

hardware:

imac 21.5-inch, mid 2010 | 3.6 ghz intel core i5 | 16gb 1333 mhz ddr3 |  ati radeon hd 5670 512mb

g-raid, 4tb, firewire800 scratch disk

software:

os x 10.8.4

adobe production premimium cs6

problem:

this lengthy exposition, don't know event may cause of effect.

a couple of weeks ago attempted download adobe plugin manager install pluraleyes3 plugin pr. in midst of received emails verifying email creative cloud. did not subscribe creative cloud don't know if accidentally signed trial while clicking around , moving quickly. never successfuly installed pluraleyes plugin, haven't returned yet (the pluraleyes3 app is installed, not plugin pr).

so creative cloud on imac reason , received notification there available updates production premimium cs6. prompted download & install of these updates. forgetting double check creative cloud, later shut down computer in midst of install. received notice interrupting install unable cancel before imac shut off. notification popped next 2-3 times shut down imac. yet creative cloud stated software date.

busy job, had step away few days. upon returning project in premiere pro, began experiencing different bugs have never occurred before (bugs imac in general, not pr pro). biggest problem have run premiere pro no longer send sequence or work area speedgrade. big problem seeing need finish our 95 minute comedy sundance submission date of august 30th.

attempted solutions:

i have cleaned imac appzapper , onyx. cleaned premiere pro cache. restarted computer several times. considering uninstalling adobe software. reinstalling new , downloading current updates. if this, have relink fo media in premiere pro? media label , wouldn't take long, don't want risk major set backs...

thank in advance. , please quick!

no, won't have relink anything: uninstalling , reinstalling adobe applications not affect project files. make backup copy of them, , you're go. prpro project file retains full paths media files imported project irrespective of whether renamed assets within project. open , let prpro rebuild media cache database scratch. thing may lose preview files, wouldn't care of much.
