Thread: no boot menu at startup after installing ubuntu alongside win7


hi community,

finished install ubuntu alongside windows 7, there no possibility choose partition boot @ start up.

partitions on disk looks following.




have grub rescue method or there maybe simpler fix ?

are directly booting windows or ubuntu.

if ubuntu not show menu if 1 system found. should find windows , menu.

sudo update-grub
if booting windows, grub2 did not install boot loader mbr correctly.

can repair many boot issues or post link run of boot info script can see exact configuration.
