Thread: Gparted Error


i resizing partition linux using gparted , got following error.
help
"error: current ntfs volume size bigger device size!
corrupt partition table or incorrect device partitioning?
"

complete gparted details attached
attached files attached files

post this:

sudo parted /dev/sda unit s print

if size wrong , partition table corrupted may able use fixparts. and/or may need run chkdks windows repaircd/usb on ntfs partition.

fixparts - repair broken partition tables (not overlapping issues) & delete stray gpt data mbr drives

first backup partiton table, use drive sdx or sda, sdb etc.
sudo sfdisk -d /dev/sdx > parts.txt
