Thread: unmounting an expired SSHFS mount

this has happened me number of times, , don't know solution (should simple).

mount remote server local mount point using sshfs this:
code:
sshfs remote.domain.com:/dir ~/remote
then forget unmount @ end (using fusermount -u ~/remote) , hibernate ubuntu machine.

switch on machine tomorrow, , mount not working. can't unmount using fusermount because gives me "still in use" error message. thing can restart machine

there should way rid of sshfs mount not functioning anymore (because connection server has been lost hours). how can that?

bump
