.AVI glitches after import
first should mention in post did vague understanding of i'm doing.
i imported .avi, plays fine everywhere else, , in playback in premiere , after exporting video glitches out frames mixed lasting full second overlayed on other frames. i'm sure there's word that. audio flawless, though.
so did googling around , found might due missing codec, , after downloading g spot , analyzing file said missing microsoft video 1 codec required it. after more googling , installing every codec pack wasn't filled malware, came across ffdshow decoder, ran , used enable aforementioned codec in both video decoder , vfw configuration. thought surely take care of , booted premiere again, after import video still glitching.
here's g spot , ffdshow right now-
and again, know these things mean on superficial level if have fancier check box use talking-to-an-old-person version.
and if question has been answered somewhere haven't come across after hour , hundred tabs of searching.
1. never install codec packs.
2. use google find converter , convert file editable, ms-dv avi type2.
