Thread: Do firefox add-ons and apparmor give full protection against attack due to browing?


i looking ultimate solution problem of threat due internet browsing. there any? have these add-ons: no-script, adblockplus, click&clean, better-privacy , ubuntu-supplied apparmor profile firefox enforced. still need cautious while browsing? people advise, e.g., not click link in emails unknown senders. if that, he/she affected though add-ons , apparmor enabled?

second, extent possible to stay clicking links in emails? if register discussion forum, send link via email, click , complete procedure. how know beforehand particular "clicking" not affect me? seems, @ point have give desire stay totally secure , take risk or give browsing altogether. agree?

common sense predicates of answer last question. being said, there bit of misunderstanding apparmor in last bit.

apparmor confines applications on process process basis. instance, if click something, download , run , starts it's own pid, apparmor nothing, has no profile pid.

if click injects code firefox, tried run firefox's pid, , firefox tries access shouldn't... don't know.../bin/bash maybe... apparmor stop this.
