Thread: Macbook Air 4,1 trackpad not functioning after suspend

hello!

got macbook air 4,1 yesterday, have 12.04 (64bit) running on it.

have issue trackpad. functions absolutely flawlessly, apart when machine wakes suspend.

upon waking suspend (suspend2ram) unable move cursor... unless click down , try , move it.

so, after waking, doesn't respond touch unless i'm pressing down on pad it's clicked in.

have ideas on how can fix this? perhaps script re-launches mouse input daemon after waking suspend work around?

**edit** **fix**
