Thread: Perplexing Ubuntu problem


greetings all. hoping might able me ubuntu problem? believe running version 11.4. on year or have used ubuntu main operating system, root.disk has been misplaced twice, causing havoc until found. time, not seem have occurred, , perplexed new problem - not difficult, rather inexperienced in these analytical matters. quite simply, cannot ubuntu. not deposited in grub gnu - sort of refuses proceed past window of simple diagnostics mentioning bluetooth being on, , few similar things don't enlighten me problem. there 1 curious phrase: "stopping anac(h)ronistic con", repeated twice.

realise rather little go on, provide a, er, 'boot info script log' (i told how make 1 kind member of forum months ago), hope might provide useful information? made after loading ubuntu usb, thinking might help. recover recent files if possible, , grateful advice.
