Thread: Ubuntu 10.04: Bluetooth not working properly with my phone?

i'm trying connect phone (htc evo 4g, android 2.3.3) laptop (lenovo ideapad) via bluetooth , while phone , laptop seen "paired" on respective devices, not connect. rather, connect millisecond before disconnects.
have feeling lack of drivers on ubuntu, have no idea find right ones (my google-fu useless seems).
there built-in bluetooth adapter in laptop, , have been able connect via bluetooth on win7 side fine.
missing, has else had problem, , can fix this?

what submodel of ideapad involved? suspect lenovo® may have used number of bluetooth transceivers in production; according one discussion @ lenovo® forums, several models, including y510-d2 discussion cited, picky transceivers. lacking further information on issue, have presume finicky-hardware issue extends linux distros portable computers, including ubuntu® 10.04-lts or later, microsoft® windows® 6.0.60xx/6.1.76xx/7.0.80xx; hardware not certified computer in question lenovo® apparently results in halt of boot process, unable determine whether @ post or os-initialization level.
