Thread: Sound Problems..

hi forum,

installed xubuntu 11.10 yesterday , it's been working great. except 1 problem: when press mute key on keyboard, volume mutes, when pressed again, panel shows sound unmuting sound isn't unmuted. used around problem typing: "amixer set master unmute" terminal. , used work, unmute sproblemsound. now, however, terminal giving me text after have entered above command:

i'm stuck no sound @ minute. appreciated.

having same problem in xubuntu 12.04
mute works, cant sound back

place if log off, , click speaker thing login screen.

(even rebooting doesnt give sound back)

why thread marked solved?
