Thread: ubuntu no longer loads

ok. woke morning , turned on pc. got far option whether want regular session or recovery mode. nothing since regular session autoselected , load.

imagine surprise when nothing --- mean nothing --- happens. screen blank. log on screen doesn't load. press power button , same thing , still nothing. presss power button again , select rd overt mode, still nothing. tried again, , nothing.

don't have cd. cd installation mounted image, can't access either. i'm unhappy , frustrated right since can't work , i'm using smart phone post thread , it's not convenient.

the first thing find out if have hardware or software problem. try hands on distro, compatable distro, freshly burned ubuntu doesn't have be. may better things designed run cd/rather installed. 2 stand out that; knoppix full dvd has popular drivers on disk. puppy linux splended being tiny functional. whichever choose ( or can hold of ) boot it. if work have software problem, if not likey it's hardware problem. can't borrow friends internet browse around pc magazines, given away cover disks. if can wait little longer can send of through post. work there chance safe ( long don't overwrite ). remember invisible windows use linux distro find it. when using vista went wrong , i'd boot knoppix cd, , use copy work flashstick before reinsallations. puppy small 1 can boot it, eject disk, whole op runs in ram , includes burner. i'm aware isn't push button fix type advice question has been unanswered while , sounds serious thought " solve can't bump can." luck , don't go formating unless know have too, quite work still there.

"Could not fill because there are not enough opaque source pixels" - not solved by any other thread

i'm getting error posted in thread's title , have no idea why.  working image not transparent in way. 100% opacity.  in fact, doesn't matter work with, every time try fill selection on layer in doc, error.  ideas???  thanks   scott probably see screen shot of photoshop layers panel open. at point guess can make wrong layer selected, once see screen, else may pop out @ me, or else reading thread. Why can't I change the billing info for my account?

hi all,   about 3 weeks ago issued new corporate cc number. have been trying since find way update in website. everytime try load billing info message 'there has been error on our side, please try again later.' has been happening weeks now. decided, if they're not going fix it, i'll call support.   i reported bug support, no response.   i called support , sat on hold update cc. hung on when should have been answered. happened twice (i'm persistent).   i registered call-back. got call-back, , told needed go person. got warm transfer because of above problem.   this person told me needed talk yet different team, , schedule call me in 1-2 hours.   it has been on week, maybe week , half since supposed receive call-back, , ticket updated yesterday; they've tried reach me no success (yeah, right), them do? left note: call me @ number within next 4 hours, , can settle this. guess got pacific time support team, because called 16 hours later (i'm gmt, way; company u...
