Thread: How to set a static IP address for my system


if seems don't know doing, because don't.

not lazy or stupid though. reading scott mueller's "upgrading , repairing pcs" series. haven't made through "upgrading , repairing networks" yet.

right trying install type of firmware router make repeater. if can make work, can mount on van wifi hotspots. i'm kind of living out of right now.

can use usb powered wifi device mounted antenna, have wire 20 gauge usb wire on van. usb hubs boost signal. can use 20 gauge usb cables 5 meters. after can use powered usb hub 5 meters. (i told wasn't stupid or lazy). real mess.

if me few noob questions, real help.

can please tell me how set static ip address on system?
