Issues when running an action , not saving the correct file

when running batch

 

i have existing file open , action opens pre exisiting file drop images into  give boarders , logos.

 

when run action drops image psd in correct area , file looks correct , in turn saves original file , not 1 batch ran on  thou file worked on , edited on cs6. in sense saves original file correct file naming when ran in batch image processor.

 

original file name.

out_9035.nef

saved file name

out_9035-12x18-2013.psd

 

still nothing done saved file execpt name change.

 

action

open

c:\*****\12x18-w.psd

 

select previous document

 

duplicate current  layer

to document 12x18-w.psd ]

name "background"

 

select next document

look information on image processor script ships photoshop. can create simpler action , have better control on output file naming using options script provides.
