Thread: I Really Screwed Up My Apache

i'm using regular ubuntu 11.10, not server version. use ubuntu main os, , play around web languages, installed apache, php5, mysql, , phpmyadmin. later, reason, uninstalled all. had working fine. reinstalled few days ago, having issues.

installed apache through terminal, , source (which think makes difference), screwed httpd.conf, can't determine website files go, , tried uninstalling it, had no success.

how uninstall php5, mysql, phpmyadmin, , apache? how reinstall these website files located in /home/theopfor/public_html/?

relevant forum topic find this. helps.

by default, document root pointing /var/www

change document root:
http://www.ajopaul.com/2010/05/01/ub...ntroot-varwww/

default httpd.conf file empty.
