Thread: Create guest account that can't see filenames/ folder names in main user's home


hello,
created new guest account people basic things check email on our computer. did quick test , logged on guest account. after going guest home folder, went 1 level , noticed home folder of main user (us) visible. double clicked main user's home folder , able see names of files , folders , subfolders. how hide guest's home folder guest?

in other words, want guest account able view , save guest home folder (where prepopulated "documents", videos, pictures, music folders are) , not able see our main user's folder , subfolders , files , not able see other folder , subfolders.

while in main user's account, right-clicked main user's home folder, selected "properties", , chose permission tab. chose "none" "others/folders access". went guest account , in "home" folder container, tried access main user's home folder. got "permission denied" message. want take 1 step farther. how can hide main user's folders , hide other folders except guest user's folder guest user?

not want guest account able see or access "file system" location nautilus file explorer.
